I did see that there were very nice all metal standard BMW Roundels, so you might look at those to see if any fit an E36.

Otherwise, you will have to look at aftermarket Classic M Roundels on eBay. The one nice thing is that those designs have more variety with dark colors replacing the white, and chrome highlights around all the tri-color shapes. You will also be able to get a full set for the hood/trunk, and wheel center caps, plus the steering wheel. Avoid stickers.

If it fits the E46 it sure will fit the E36.
