Paperwork: Your dealer will be completing the paperwork couple of weeks before your delivery and provide you all documents. You will be paying CA title and tax.
PPF: Yes. The place i have reported is 15 mns from PC.
Shipping: After your PCD, the car is yours and you have to coordinate everything. I believe they dont hand over the keys to a shipper due to liability issues.
If you are in CA, you can take delivery from your dealership and do a separate driving course in Thermal. This way you don't have to coordinate with the logistics and delivery of your vehicle.
