Speaking of the kickstand, what does it do? I would assume keep that corner from breaking/bending but is it mechanically attached to the dash? Or is it just ...there...for style? Just wondering if it has any utility. Your image from above and outside the windshield makes it look like the stand may not be necessary, as the screen doesn't look like it bows out from the dash that much. |
So the kickstand is there because if it wasn't that top right part of the screen would have too much flex in it. It's just for structural rigidity, I would assume. It's drilled into dash or something. It doesn't move.
