Just curious, why bother to code this? In my US spec car at least, it remembers the button setting for this - so I haven’t had to worry about it in months. (It’s nice that the M cars here, at least the manual transmission ones, hold this setting through ignition cycles - I don’t know of many other new cars here that don’t make you push the button to disable auto S/S every time you turn the car on.)
