Yes. My rationale: if turning off ASD physically closes mechanical components (valves, as described before) I would assume that could have an impact on performance. However, I don’t know enough about car mechanics to determine if those ”valves” only control sound and don’t affect exhaust.
So yes, this is a serious question. Call me a noob, I’m just no expert and would like to know the answer.
I already read further above in this thread that turning off ASD turns off the audio engine sound inside, but also closes the valves to reduce sound outside. I also read that some people have used a coder to decouple the two. I just don’t know if that’s the case with Murf.
