I think these stop sales fall into 2 categories. The main bearing cap issue was discovered after production - and even after some had their cars. I assume they wouldn't assemble any more cars with a known defective engine and they probably fixed that right away with improved parts. The other issue is building cars without certain modules and holding them at port until the modules can be received and installed. It's not clear to me whether these have been fully resolved, or when the buyer would know that his car faces a delay.
