I haven't been able to launch my G80 because I'm still in break-in, but watching other videos it seems the RPMs go right to a specific point and pretty much sit there. I would assume that BMW engineers picked that rpm to where the car is building optimum boost but maybe it only holds it for a set period of time?

Once I get this nail out of my tire I plan to try launching again without waiting to see how it compares.
