In the carwow video the F82 is jumping ahead and the G82 had a real trouble even catching up, and in the Joe Achilles video the G82 left the F82 in a dust even if they had brutally shorter distance at their disposal (less than 300 meters)!
Also, it is 100% confirmed that the green F82 M4 was tuned, and every single objective measurement is showing that the G82 is considerably quicker car (it is even faster than the new RS6 on the roll and is walking down on the new Carrera 2S!)

Truth be told, these "in gear pulls" are total BS comparisons to start with simply because the DCT and ZF8 have different gearing. The longer gearing of the DCT puts it at a disadvantage when starting in the same numerical gear than the ZF8.
The fact that the G8X has a better power-to-weight tells us it is the faster car. However all these videos do not give a true appreciation of the acceleration difference between the two. They are just click baits.
