I agree that its too early to know. I'm sure performance-wise it will be a step forward no doubt. BMW engineering knows what they're doing. But style-wise, its safe to say the reception so far hasn't been so kind. We've been beating this horse dead for a while now but when styling is too controversial, it distracts and takes away from the true merits of the car, which is about the performance. Similarly, reliability issues also detract from overall performance. Just look at the Giulia. People can look past a sucky infotainment system because no car is perfect, but they start to notice when a car can't stay out of a shop for a few weeks at a time. Same thing applies here with the G8X.

BTW, I don't know too many infants who can operate a car so maybe we can dial back the hyperbole a bit lol
