My friend came to me with his bone stock e92 as he had problems with one side of his angel eyes not lighting up. I replaced his bulb for him with 3 different kinds: 2x lux, 2x cree and 2x OEM. It never turns on.

So after testing the bulbs, I thought it could be a problem with the fuse. After testing, it was not the fuse. I resetted his FRM and it is not that either, however I am not sure if I did it correctly since he has FRM1 and I heard it can't be resetted.

When he ignited the car to leave, i noticed that his CORNERING LIGHT on the messed-up-side lights up instead of his angel eyes. This messed up cornering light turns off after the bulb out error pops up on the dashboard.

When I put the car in reverse to make both cornering light turn on, only the good side turns on.

He doesn't know the history of his car but I assume some idiot wired the lights wrong and mixed up the wiring on the angel eyes and cornering light?

Anyone run into this problem before?
