Hmmmm, that may even be my EXACT color. Let's see...2,240 miles each way. 4,480 miles at 20mpg...HAH, I'd be leadfooting it 16mpg. That $1,300 alone just in gas. Don't think I'm driving out there to get it

you won't find another hardtop for $1000, trust me. They run at LEAST $1500 used

Ok Pokey, you've got this one It looks like you've got some local competition for the top though. There's no way the seller will sell to me (and have a shipping company pick it up) versus local pickup unless I offer a lot more money.

I had a hardtop for my old Z4, it was a PITA to put on and off, sure it looks better with the hardtop on than with the soft top up, but it's just not worth it IMO since I would want to put the top down on nice winter days and I couldn't and by the time I got someone to help me take the hardtop off it was raining again.

True. I also heard it was the same place that they stored James Dean's Porsche. Doubly cursed.
